We have two different designs of these evident on Cottingfield.
Built from the Peco SL-340 kit these were glued together one day and left to dry. Since then they have been painted initially with the airbrush, and then hand finished.
Once glued the buffer stops were treated to a base coat of black matt to give them a depth of colour. Once this had dried they all had at least one coat of Railmatch weathered black. The differing numbers of coats and spray patterns intended to reflect different stages of life, and effect from the weather.
Final details have been picked out in red by hand before being placed in position. They were then fixed and glued as part of the ballasting process.
